Men's National Club Championship | March 1-3, 2025

ABOUT

The 2024 National Club Championship heads to Georgia in March of 2025. This invite-only tournament field will be made up of the top amateur golfers from around the country who have won their club championship during the 2024 calendar year. Receiving an invitation to the PGA Club Championship is quite an honor since the field is only made up of an exclusive group of club champions. The championship brings together a wide variety of golfers from all 41 PGA Sections and all 50 states. Public or private. Small or large.

The championship is a 3-day, 54 hole stroke play competition with Men's (Any Age), Senior Men's (50+) and Legend Men's (65+) divisions, each with separate prizing. Competition rounds will take place across Reynolds' Great Waters, Oconee, and National (Ridge and Cove) courses. Additional FAQs can be found on the FAQ's and Contact Page.

INVITATIONS AND REGISTRATION

PGA Professionals submit their amateur club champions to pgaclubchamp.org and invitations are sent out to players via email. If you are a club champion, please ask your PGA Professional for the invitation or contact Matthew Thompson at mthompson@pgahq.com. The field will be limited to club champions only and due to the nature of the invite process, acceptances will be taken first come first served until the field is full.

Eligibility Criteria:

Club Champions who do not meet these requirements may still apply for a special exemption via the Application Based Entry form which gets reviewed monthly. Eligibility questions can be sent directly to Matthew Thompson mthompson@pgahq.com.

The PGA National Club Championship is a tournament that I add to my schedule as soon as the dates are available. It's rare to be able to play world class golf courses in tournament conditions and this event allows you to do that. I look forward to seeing just how far the PGA of America team is able to take this event in the future.

The PGA National Club Championship is an outstanding tournament that I recommend it to anyone who qualifies. The PGA celebrates not only all of the players in each event but also the past champions in each division. The tournament from start to finish is a first- class event. I have played in tournaments all over the US and this tournament is at the top of my list as being one of the best in the country. Along with the experience of playing in a National Amateur event, I have made new friends from all over the Country and memories that will last a lifetime. If you qualify for the event expect to be treated the same as the PGA/LPGA tour players as well as getting to play some of the best golf courses in the US. The PGA of America and all of it’s sponsors are committed to making this a memorable experience for all of the players, caddies and spectators.

- Coleman Tidwell -

Idle Hour Golf & CC, GA

I have had the pleasure of participating in the 4 PGA National Club Championship events.  They have been held at fantastic locations and the Tournament Committee has done an excellent job each time.  Every year seems to add a little something special.  I look forward to playing in the event next spring when it visits my home state for the first time!
