We are excited to share that this year, PGA HOPE will be powered by PGA Coach and pga.com. This gives us the opportunity to take advantage of the millions of people (including our Veterans) who visit pga.com every month. In addition, our Veterans and Service Members will be able to easily sign up for a program closest to them - centralizing the experience & making it easy for a Veteran to commit to this life-changing program. Alongside your PGA Section, we will also be able to use the tools provided by PGA Coach to manage registration and messaging for all events.
In preparation for this exciting addition, we ask you to create a Coach Profile through PGA Coach with your name and profile photo attached for Veterans to see. You have the option to make your profile visible or hidden on the search on pga.com/coach, and are also welcome to explore the additional PGA Coach tools, training, and free marketing to help make your coaching business as successful as possible.
This new addition to PGA HOPE ensures Veterans know who their coach is before class to ease anxieties, that they know what to expect going into PGA HOPE if they have never been on a golf course before, and that you know all about your Veteran before he or she comes to class - to include physical abilities, where they are in their golf journey, if they’ll be bringing a service dog, and more.
