ABOUT OSPREY MEADOWS AT TAMARACK RESORT
McCall, ID | Located 90 miles north of Boise, Idaho, Osprey Meadows at Tamarack Resort has reemerged as a premier destination for golf enthusiasts with its reopening in 2024, featuring a stunning redesign by the renowned architect Robert Trent Jones Jr. This new chapter marks the course's inaugural season with its expertly crafted layout that harmoniously integrates with the natural environment and emphasizes challenging yet rewarding playability. The redesigned course showcases Jones's signature style, utilizing the natural topography of the area to create holes that wind through picturesque meadows, forests, and rolling hills. Golfers are treated to breathtaking views of Lake Cascade and the surrounding mountains, while diverse terrains and strategically designed holes test skill and precision.
Beyond the exceptional golfing experience, Tamarack Resort provides luxurious accommodations, including well-appointed condominiums, townhomes, and custom chalets, ensuring comfort and a connection to the natural surroundings. Guests can indulge in a variety of dining options, ranging from casual eateries to fine dining, featuring locally sourced ingredients, as well as a spa and wellness center that serves as a sanctuary for relaxation and rejuvenation.
Tamarack is an all-season destination resort with 3,500 acres of recreation. The resort is a hub for outdoor activities throughout the year, offering mountain biking, hiking, and watersports on Lake Cascade during warmer months and skiing and snowboarding in winter. Convenient retail options are also available on-site, providing easy access to sporting goods, clothing, and other necessities.
Tamarack Resort is presently welcoming guests from the public, offering a wide range of luxurious amenities and recreational activities that all can enjoy. However, the resort is undergoing an exciting transformation, with a rapidly expanding private club that is gaining popularity. As this exclusive community continues to grow, Osprey Meadows Golf Course plans to transition to an operation model focused on serving its private club members, ultimately evolving into a private club course with access to lodging guests.
