Founded in 1901, the Niagara Falls Country Club is a family-oriented, full-service private country club that offers something for everyone.

Home to the renowned Porter Cup amateur tournament, the Club has hosted many past and present PGA Tour professionals including: Ben Crenshaw, Phil Mickelson, Jason Day, Rickie Fowler, Adam Scott, Matt Kuchar, Dustin Johnson, Justin Leonard, Brooks Koepka, Bryson DeChambeau & Tiger Woods.

Title: PGA Head Golf Professional
Reports to: General Manager/COO
Supervises: Assistant Golf Professionals, Golf Operations Staff
The Head Golf Professional serves as the leader and director of all golf functions. The Professional is responsible for creating and implementing operating procedures for the golf staff to assure quality services to our members and guests. He/She will need to have a visible presence and will be an ambassador for the club and will create a friendly atmosphere for the staff, members and guests. The Professional will work closely with other department heads to help ensure member satisfaction throughout the club. The Professional will directly manage all golf operations staff.
Foster a staff culture that ensures an extremely high level of service on a consistent basis
Recruit, hire, train, and set performance standards for all golf operations personnel including Assistant Pros, Interns, Pro-Shop Attendants, and Club Storage staff
Provide a comprehensive instructional program for all ages and skill levels including men, women, and juniors through lessons, clinics, and innovative player development programs
Own and operate a Pro-Shop/Merchandising operation that features a wide range of products and services reflective of member needs
Innovate, organize, promote, and execute first-class tournaments for all member events
Work in conjunction with the Golf Committee and General Manager/COO to develop the annual golf calendar
Ensure a first-class practice facility experience on a daily basis
Administer the golf car fleet maintenance program
Plan and execute the golf aspects of all Monday Outings
Prepare the annual budget for the golf operations department and strive to meet or exceed department goals
Enforce all club policies that govern the use of the golf course, golf carts, practice facilities, and USGA Rules of Golf
Maintain regular communication and interaction with the General Manager/COO, Head Superintendent, Director of Food & Beverage, Director of Finance, and Golf Committee Chair
Make time to play golf with members of all ages and skill levels
Serve as the representative of the club’s golf program to the wider community including representing the club in area professional events.
Prioritized Keys to Successful Performance:
1. Experience running successful golf tournaments on a large scale along with club events
2. Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written
3. Excel in Membership relations, retention, and recruitment and visibility at the club
4. Be inclusive of all members including women, juniors, high and low handicaps
5. Merchandising. Stock a high-end Pro Shop with lines that members are accustomed to
6. An outgoing energetic individual who can relate to a wide range of members
Minimum of three years' experience as a Head Golf Professional preferred. First assistants at premier Golf Clubs will be considered
Class A PGA Professional or working toward that goal
College degree preferred.
Private club experience preferred.
Merchandising experience and track record of success preferred.
Knowledge and experience with private country golf operations, financial practices and budget management.
Highly efficient with Golf Genius software for tournament operations.
A proven leader, mentor and team builder.
Ability to increase member and guest service and experience levels and lead the golf operation to success in this area.
Ability to communicate effectively, efficiently and often with members, staff and Board of Directors.
A willing collaborator who will work to enhance the image of the Club.
Base Salary Range is $75,000 to $80,000
Golf Shop Ownership
Total Anticipated Compensation is up to $120,000
Additional income is derived from profits from the golf shop, lesson income, club repair and facility bonus.

Simple IRA - up to 3% Club Match (after 1 year or 1st $5,000 in compensation)
