The Clubhouse
The Clubhouse, fashioned in a stately Colonial Revival style, was originally built in 1929 and serves as the central gathering place for members and their guests.
The building recently underwent a comprehensive renovation in 2022, ensuring a modern, luxurious environment.
It features multiple fine dining options, a comfortable lounge, enhanced outdoor dining spaces, administrative offices, and grand banquet facilities, including a ballroom often used for special events.
Golf
The centerpiece of the Club is its 18-hole championship golf course.
Originally designed by renowned architect Donald Ross, the course has been meticulously maintained.
The course is characterized by lush Bermuda fairways and challenging Bent grass greens.
The facility includes a superb practice area with a driving range, putting green, short game area, and a Learning Center with two covered bays.

Tennis: A large tennis facility features ten immaculately maintained HydroCourt clay playing surfaces, in addition to one hard court.

Title: Player Development Professional
Reports to: Director of Golf and works collaboratively with the Assistant Professionals and golf operations team
Supervises: Range and practice-facility staff
Position Description: The Player Development Professional plays a central role in delivering exceptional instruction, supporting golf operations, and fostering a collaborative, service-driven culture at Mountain Brook Club. This position focuses on maximizing teaching availability, elevating member and coworker experiences, and contributing meaningfully to all areas of the golf operation.
Maintain maximum availability for members and junior instruction.
Teach in all club camps, clinics, schools, and instructional programs.
Provide daily lessons to members and junior golfers.
Enthusiastically assist in all club tournaments and competitive events.
Assist in any areas of golf operations when helpful or needed by golf staff.
Open the golf shop each Tuesday from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Support Assistant Professionals with PGA Jr. League teams.
Participate in club demo and fitting days.
Conduct professional club fittings for members.
Responsible for daily care, cleanliness, and organization of Learning Center, short game area, and range.

Passion for mentoring junior golfers and fostering a positive learning environment.
Experience with club fitting and golf technology (TrackMan).
Highly skilled, enthusiastic player who places high value on this.
Desire to represent themselves and MBC in Alabama/NW Florida PGA events and tournaments.
The club will provide a compensation and benefits package commensurate with experience and qualifications. This includes but is not limited to:
Salary range $30,000-$40,000, depending on PGA or LPGA Class A certification or PGM schooling status level.
Current lesson rate is $100/hour and $75/half hour
Lesson revenue is split 80% to teacher, 20% to the club
Club clinic revenue is split 90% to teacher, 10% to the club
401-k after 1 year
1 week vacation after 1 year; 2 weeks vacation after 2 years
