Since its inception in 1923, Monroe Golf Club has been regarded as one of the premier clubs in upstate NY. Its classic Donald Ross-designed golf course has recently completed a 5-year restoration overseen by renowned architect Tyler Rae, and is considered to be one of the most preserved layouts of Ross’s original designs. The course is traditionally ranked as a top course in Golfweek’s Classic Course category. In addition to the golf course, the club offers a comprehensive practice facility including an expansive practice tee, short-game green for pitching and bunker play, and a beautiful 4-hole, par-3 Short Course designed by Gil Hanse in 2008. The club also offers a state-of-the-art Golf Simulator room, which includes two hitting bays, a lounge, and an HD Golf Simulator system with 37 championship courses and 10 practice ranges for play, practice, and lessons on a year-round basis.
The stunning clubhouse features numerous dining options and banquet rooms, which provide spectacular views of the golf course and surrounding landscape. Additional amenities include a fitness center, five tennis courts (three har-tru clay and two hard), two platform tennis courts and a paddle hut, and a competition-size pool with an adjacent playground.
