Lexington, MA | Lexington Golf Club is a private family club with a rich, 130-year tradition of excellence and camaraderie, situated less than a mile west of historic Lexington Center. The club offers a unique blend of heritage and modern excellence, highlighted by a brand new clubhouse opened in 2026.
The core of the Club experience revolves around its amenities: a historic and challenging 9-hole golf course, classic pro shop services, exceptional dining, and a vibrant calendar of member events.
Founded in 1895, the golf course is notably historic. It originally operated out of an old barn on the Monroe property, where early golfers shared the nine shorter holes with pastured cows and horses, necessitating fenced putting greens and a famous local ground rule for balls hitting the wire. The course eventually moved from the Monroe pasture to its present, scenic location on the former Vaille farm in North Lexington (presently 55 Hill St.). Today, the course seamlessly blends its rich history with modern standards, featuring recent work completed by Tyler Rae Design and Tim Lewis Golf Design under a new Master Plan that provides a thoughtful and balanced approach to the course layout.
After more than 35 years of dedicated service, Head Golf Professional Kevin Wilczewski will be retiring. The club is seeking a professional who understands the significance of this heritage and is prepared to contribute to the operation and maintenance of this facility. The successful candidate will have the distinct privilege of becoming only the 8th Head Professional, stepping in to lead our golf operations into an exciting new era.
