La Gorce Country Club shares a magnificent and rich history dating back to 1927. After World War II, the property was bought by wealthy and prominent leaders, serving as a symbol of the rebirth of the beauty and order of the community. Called the renaissance of golf homes, La Gorce features some of the most sought-after amenities, including an 18-hole golf course, a massive swimming pool area, an active fitness facility, and six spacious tennis courts for everyone to enjoy. The La Gorce golf course was designed by some of the most famous and creative architects of their generation, from Thomas Pearson, David Heatwole, Bruce Howard, MacCurrach Golf, Robert Trent Jones, Sr., and the maestro Jack Nicklaus.
La Gorce is not a typical private golf course, golfers must be invited in order to enjoy the luxury offered by the club. From Alton Road to the stretch of La Gorce Drive, golf property residents can see amazing views enveloped by tall palm trees. Almost every home boasts a massive front yard, which amazes many because of the very neat and airy placement. Residents enjoy a serene setting matched with extraordinary tropical breezes from nearby bays and a stunning Miami Beach skyline, perfect for nightfall sightseeing.
