Championship Format
Event: 72-hole stroke play
Eligibility: The Boys or Girls Junior PGA Championship is open to players who are no older than 18 years of age on August 5, 2022
First Cut: Made after 36 holes to top 60 plus ties
Second Cut: Made after 54 holes to top 30 plus ties
Course Rotation: The Boys and Girls Junior PGA Championships will take place at Cog Hill Golf & Country Club on Course #4 (Dubsdread) and Course #2 (Ravines).
Round 1: Course #4 (Dubsdread) - Boys
Course #2 (Ravines) - Girls
Round 2: Course #2 (Ravines) - Boys
Course #4 (Dubsdread) - Girls
Rounds 3: Course #4 (Dubsdread) - All Players
Final Round: Course #4 (Dubsdread) - All Players
Field Size
Field Size: The field will consist of 156 players for each championship.
All contestants must have qualified through a PGA Section Championship or have been granted and exemption into the field. All contestants are subject to the eligibility requirements set forth in the entry information.

Tuesday, August 2
Double Tee: 7:00am - 9:30am
Double Tee: 12:00pm - 2:30pm

Groupings & Starting Times
Rounds 1 & 2: Posted online at Golf Genius the morning of July 31.
Rounds 3 & 4: Will be available approximately 90 minutes after play on the night prior to each respective round. They will be texted to all participating contestants who provide their mobile phone number during Contestant Registration and will be posted on-line at www.juniorpgachampionship.com.
Results: Complete results will be viewable on www.juniorpgachampionship.com each day after all play is completed.

Starting Procedure
PGA Officials will not call contestants to the starting tee. It is the contestant's responsibility to be in place and ready to start at his assigned tee and starting time.
Caddies & Push Carts
The Boys & Girls Junior PGA Championship is a "Walking Only" championship. Caddies are not permitted. Contestants must carry their own clubs. However, the use of a non-motorized push cart is allowed. Cog Hill Golf & Country Club has limited push carts available to rent on a first come, first serve basis.
Contestants are reminded that during the championship rounds, they are not allowed to accept rides on any vehicles, unless specifically directed by a member of the PGA of America Rules Committee. There is a 2-stroke penalty for a ride on any unauthorized vehicle.
Caddies are allowed ONLY during practice rounds.
Conforming Clubs
Condition: A players’ clubs must conform to the grooves and punch mark conditions of competition.
