The Head Golf Professional will be responsible for overseeing and managing golf operations and services, working closely with the General Manager to further a strong culture of family, friendship, and professionalism throughout the club. Visibility and engagement are critical success factors for this role.
The Head Golf Professional will play a key role in member engagement. From new member welcome and onboarding to developing and implementing innovative programs and activities designed to enhance the member experience.
Candidates must possess a history of performing at a superior level and providing exceptional levels of service.
The Head Golf Professional will develop and implement innovative programs, enhanced events, and activities designed to retain membership levels at the club.
Provide a high level of member satisfaction by driving an exceptional golf experience.
A team player who works closely and respectfully with the General Manager, Golf Course Superintendent and Agronomy Staff, Food and Beverage Staff, Club Controller, Membership Director, etc.
Lead, mentor, and/or coach golf management staff, including the Assistant Golf Professionals, Golf Shop Staff, and Outside Services Staff.
Execute modern management "best practices” while promoting a positive and responsive service culture.

The Head Golf Professional must love golf and love people. We are looking for the face of golf for our Club.
We are seeking a skilled competitor who can compete in Section events representing the Club.
Must be a good instructor who is excited to work with skilled golfers as well as beginners. Introducing golf to women and children will be a key effort for the club’s future success.
PGA of America Class A Member in good standing.
Head Golf Professional experience is a plus, however, candidates with 3+ years of experience as a Lead Assistant or similar role will be given full consideration.
Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline preferred.
Outstanding leadership, management, and delegation skills.
Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills, and ability to communicate effectively.
Ability to work well under pressure, coordinating multiple tasks at a given time.
Responsible for maintaining good conduct and safe working habits.
Proficient in operating systems and club-based POS/accounting/member billing system, as well as other applications, i.e. email, internet, tournament, database, inventory tracking systems, etc.
The club will provide a compensation and benefits package commensurate with experience and qualifications. This includes but is not limited to:
Base Salary: $120,000-$140,000 annually (based on qualifications)
Projected lessons of $20,000+ (based on a historical average at the facility)
Bonus Opportunity - Available based on performance standards as set by the facility
