Huntingdon Valley Country Club
Huntingdon Valley, PA
General Manager/Chief Operating Officer
ABOUT HUNTINGDON VALLEY COUNTRY CLUB
Huntingdon Valley, PA | Huntingdon Valley Country Club is a private, premier family-oriented club located in Southeastern PA boasting a 300+ acre campus, serving approximately 700 members and their families. The Club is located in the northern suburbs of Philadelphia and offers outstanding recreational and social amenities including golf, tennis, platform tennis, pickleball, squash, swimming, fitness, trapshooting, and a beautiful clubhouse featuring a variety of member dining and banquet venues.
Huntingdon Valley Country Club is one of the elder statesmen of US golf clubs, founded in 1897. As with many other older clubs, it started out in life as a nine-hole layout at a previous location, prior to moving to its present site in Huntingdon Valley PA in the 1920s. William S. Flynn and Howard C. Toomey designed and built what was termed a “supercourse” in the local papers, and it opened for play in April 1928. The Club has a longstanding tradition of excellent amateur golf. The Club has claimed 34 Golf Association of Philadelphia team match titles, which is by far the most of any club in the region. The Club is a frequent host to top amateur tournaments conducted by local golf associations, most recently hosting the Pennsylvania Amateur Championship in 2024.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to serve as the chief operating officer of the Club and, together with our Board of Governors and its Committees, to manage and enhance all aspects of the Club for the benefit of its entire membership.
