Our storied past includes hosting the 1967 PGA Championship, where Don January triumphed over legends like Gary Player, Arnold Palmer, and Jack Nicklaus. Columbine Country Club is seeking a dynamic Director of Instruction to lead our golf programs, foster community engagement, and elevate the game of golf within one of Colorado’s most prestigious clubs. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Instruction & Program Development
Innovate & Lead: Expand one of Colorado’s premier junior golf programs, including 225 juniors, 3 PGA Junior League teams, and year-round initiatives.
Tailored Learning: Develop and deliver instructional programs for juniors, beginners, women, and advanced players, blending fun, recreation, and competition.
Technology Integration: Utilize advanced teaching tools like TrackMan, TPI, and other technologies to deliver world-class instruction.
Member Engagement: Organize club-fitting events, foster vendor relationships, and promote equipment sales to enhance the member experience.
Facility Excellence: Oversee and maintain practice facilities and learning centers, ensuring they meet the highest standards of safety, cleanliness, and professionalism.
Leadership & Strategic Vision
Mentor Professionals: Inspire a team of golf professionals, providing training and fostering a culture of growth and collaboration.
Strategic Alignment: Work closely with the Director of Golf and senior staff to ensure instructional programs align with Columbine’s mission and vision.
Engage Broadly: Represent Columbine at local, regional, and national events, showcasing the club’s excellence and expanding its influence.
Strategic Growth: Design and implement programs that drive participation, revenue, and overall member satisfaction, with a focus on sustainability and innovation.
Community Building
Relationships Matter: Build meaningful connections with members, creating a personalized and welcoming experience.
Support Growth: Inspire junior golfers through tournaments, skill-building opportunities, and collegiate preparation guidance.
Inclusivity Focus: Foster a supportive and engaging environment for women’s golf programs, encouraging participation and camaraderie.
Engage Through Play: Actively participate in organized member play across all demographics to build rapport and foster community spirit.
QUALIFICATIONS & ATTRIBUTES
Qualifications including, but not limited to, the following:
PGA Class A Member or LPGA Member
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Proven track record in instruction and program development, with private club experience highly desirable
Certifications in TPI, TrackMan, AimPoint, or US Kids Golf preferred
Experience with PGA Junior League, ADM Certification, and Operation 36 is highly preferred
Proficiency in instructional technologies and program management

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The club will provide compensation and benefits package commensurate with experience and qualifications. This includes but is not limited to:
$95,000-$110,000+ first-year projected income potential (junior golf, women’s teaching programs, new player initiatives, individual instruction)
