Larkspur, CO | The Colorado Section of the PGA was founded in 1957 as the 31st Section of the Professional Golfers’ Association of America. We are recognized as one of the leading Sections within the PGA of America, earning the Herb Graffis Award in 2011 and again in 2018. The Herb Graffis Award recognizes a PGA of America Section for extraordinary and exemplary contributions and achievements in Player Development. The Colorado Section serves over 700 PGA Members and over 200 PGA Associates, residing in the entire state of Colorado, Eastern Wyoming, and a small part of South Dakota. To provide a first-class experience for Colorado PGA Members and the Foundation community in all tournaments, events, initiatives, and programming. Title: Director - Business Development and Strategic Partnerships
Direct Coordinator’s Title: Managing Director - Section and Managing Director - Foundation
Position Description: Responsible for the consistent growth, activation, and retention of partnership, donor, and fundraising dollars.
Looking for an individual who has a passion for raising dollars that make a direct impact on PGA of America Golf Professionals and the community
Partner & Donor Activation, Acquisition, Growth, and Retention (Both digital and on-site at all events)
The Section has over 50 corporate partners that are already on board for 2026, so this individual will have the opportunity for a successful runway in 2026
The position will be responsible for overseeing the Communication and Digital Content Coordinator and the Marketing Intern
Partner Support for all Section, Foundation, and Junior Golf Programming and initiatives
All aspects of Partner & Donor Communication & Marketing
Responsible for the execution, growth, and financial health of all fundraisers (both online and events)
Special ordering through partners
Section Annual Review Creation
360 Review of Managing Director - Section and Managing Director - Foundation
Other Duties Assigned by CEO/ED

Undergraduate Degree
Experience in previous sponsorship sales is not required, but helpful
PGA Membership or interest in becoming a PGA Member is not required, but helpful
A valid Driver’s License with access to a reliable vehicle is required
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills are required
Excellent computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Canva
Skills in social media marketing and communications
Well-organized, punctual, and energetic
Willingness and ability to work in a team environment and travel
Willingness and ability to work overtime, including weekends
Willingness and ability to be flexible to additional job duties outside the scope of work
The Section will provide compensation and benefits package commensurate with experience and qualifications. This includes but not limited to:
Base - Exempt position with annual salary of $70,000 - $75,000
Commission Incentives - Potential to earn up to $10,000 in commission incentives
Bonus potential of up to 5% of salary- Potential to earn up to 5% based on strategic initiatives - $3,500 - $3,750
Company Cell Phone Stipend - $600
Company Laptop - $1,200
401k matching - approximately $3,000 based on employee matching
