Position Description: Chenal Country Club is seeking an energetic, relationship-driven PGA Professional to lead and elevate an already successful instructional program. This highly visible leadership position offers the opportunity to build upon a strong foundation of instruction, junior golf, and member engagement while helping create one of the premier player development programs in Arkansas.
The Director of Instruction will play a key role in continuing to shape the future of golf at Chenal by fostering meaningful relationships with members, expanding junior and family golf participation, and developing innovative programming for golfers of all ages and skill levels. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching, committed to exceptional service, and dedicated to creating a welcoming culture that encourages lifelong enjoyment of the game.
This position is ideal for a golf professional who is energized by teaching, enjoys building relationships, and wants to create a lasting impact within a private club environment.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to:
Lead all instructional programming at Chenal Country Club.
Grow an established junior golf development program.

Instruction & Player Development
Deliver engaging individual and group instruction for golfers of all ages and skill levels.
Provide private lessons, clinics, club fittings, and on-course coaching.
Create player development pathways that encourage long-term improvement and enjoyment of the game.
Utilize modern teaching technology and methods to enhance the learning experience.
Junior Golf & Family Programming
Continue the growth of a vibrant year-round junior golf program.
Organize junior camps, PGA Junior League teams, clinics, tournaments, and family golf events.
Build strong relationships with juniors and their families.
Expand participation and help create lifelong golfers.
Develop creative programming that encourages family involvement and member engagement.
Member Engagement & Club Culture
Maintain a highly visible presence within the golf operation and throughout the club.
Build meaningful relationships with members of all ages and backgrounds.
Deliver exceptional service and personalized coaching experiences.
Contribute positively to the culture and overall member experience at Chenal.
Program & Team Leadership
Manage instructional schedules, programming calendars, and budgets.

Preferred Experience
PGA Coach, ADM, Operation 36, or similar player development experience.
Experience leading PGA Junior League programs.
Success growing participation, engagement, and instructional revenue.
Competitive playing experience is valued but not required.
The club will provide a compensation and benefits package commensurate with experience and qualifications. This includes but is not limited to:
$40,000 base salary, total compensation of $130,000
