Chenal Country Club is proud to boast two 18-hole championship golf courses designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr. Each course is dramatically beautiful and extraordinarily challenging.
FOUNDERS COURSE
The Founders Course offers Zoysia fairways and Tif Eagle Bermuda greens. Open qualities and multiple tees allow the course to play at yardages for all levels.
BEAR DEN COURSE
The Bear Den Course offers Zoysia fairways and recently converted Tif Eagle Bermuda greens. Bear Den incorporates natural features with tight, tree-lined fairways, crystal clear creeks, and protected wildlife areas

Tennis: The two Fastdry soft clay courts and six Nova pro bounce post-tension hard courts are all lighted. The Tennis Shop offers a range of tennis equipment and some apparel, including racquets, balls, grips, stringing, and clothing.
Fitness Center: Personal training, physical therapy, cardio equipment, strength training, and dedicated spaces for stretching and individual exercise. Members can enjoy treadmills, elliptical trainers, stationary bikes, free weights, and circuit resistance machines in a welcoming private club fitness setting.
Pool: Our swimming area offers enjoyment for the whole family, including food and drinks from the Pool Snack Bar

Title: Director of Instruction

Supervises: Assist in the Supervision of Golf Staff
Position Description: Chenal Country Club is seeking an energetic, relationship-driven PGA Professional to lead and elevate an already successful instructional program. This highly visible leadership position offers the opportunity to build upon a strong foundation of instruction, junior golf, and member engagement while helping create one of the premier player development programs in Arkansas.
The Director of Instruction will play a key role in continuing to shape the future of golf at Chenal by fostering meaningful relationships with members, expanding junior and family golf participation, and developing innovative programming for golfers of all ages and skill levels. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching, committed to exceptional service, and dedicated to creating a welcoming culture that encourages lifelong enjoyment of the game.
This position is ideal for a golf professional who is energized by teaching, enjoys building relationships, and wants to create a lasting impact within a private club environment.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to:
Lead all instructional programming at Chenal Country Club.
Grow an established junior golf development program.
Expand family golf participation and engagement.
Develop long-term player development pathways for golfers of all abilities.
Create innovative clinics, camps, leagues, and coaching experiences.
Grow instructional revenue while enhancing member satisfaction and retention.
Collaborate with club leadership to support the overall golf experience and strategic initiatives of the club.

Deliver engaging individual and group instruction for golfers of all ages and skill levels.
Provide private lessons, clinics, club fittings, and on-course coaching.
Create player development pathways that encourage long-term improvement and enjoyment of the game.
Utilize modern teaching technology and methods to enhance the learning experience.
Junior Golf & Family Programming
Continue the growth of a vibrant year-round junior golf program.
Organize junior camps, PGA Junior League teams, clinics, tournaments, and family golf events.
Build strong relationships with juniors and their families.
Expand participation and help create lifelong golfers.
Develop creative programming that encourages family involvement and member engagement.
Member Engagement & Club Culture
Maintain a highly visible presence within the golf operation and throughout the club.
Build meaningful relationships with members of all ages and backgrounds.
Deliver exceptional service and personalized coaching experiences.
Contribute positively to the culture and overall member experience at Chenal.
Program & Team Leadership
Manage instructional schedules, programming calendars, and budgets.
Track participation, revenue, and program growth.
Maintain teaching facilities and instructional technology.
Support the golf operation and special events as a collaborative member of the team.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Including, but not limited to, the following:
PGA of America Class A Professional preferred.
Private club experience preferred.
Demonstrated success in junior golf and family programming.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Passion for creating a welcoming, family-focused golf environment.
Organized, self-motivated, and committed to excellence.
High character, strong work ethic, and a team-first attitude.
Preferred Experience
PGA Coach, ADM, Operation 36, or similar player development experience.
Experience leading PGA Junior League programs.
Success growing participation, engagement, and instructional revenue.
Competitive playing experience is valued but not required.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The club will provide a compensation and benefits package commensurate with experience and qualifications. This includes but is not limited to:
$40,000 base salary, total compensation of $130,000
Health and retirement benefits.
PGA dues and continuing education support.
Professional development opportunities.
Access to club facilities and practice amenities.
