Springfield, NJ | Baltusrol Golf Club, synonymous with championship golf, sits at the base of Baltusrol Mountain in northern New Jersey, only a stone’s throw from New York City. With a rich heritage that dates back to 1895, Baltusrol remains true to our founder Louis Keller’s vision to create a world-class golf club befitting America’s leading city.
Baltusrol’s two 18-hole championship courses, the Lower and Upper, have played distinguished roles on the national golf stage since their creation by architect A.W. Tillinghast. In 2014, Baltusrol was designated a National Historic Landmark in recognition of its importance to Tillinghast’s career as a course designer. Today, the Dual Courses host more than 35,000 annual rounds. Our Performance facilities and practice areas host more than 5,000 hours of golf and fitness instruction.
The Club has hosted 19 major championships including seven U.S. Opens, two U.S. Women’s Opens, two PGA Championships, and most recently, the 2023 Women’s PGA Championship. The PGA Championship will be played on the Lower Course for the third time in 2029.
