Skills Challenge Overview
Each team will have the opportunity to participate in the Championship Skills Challenge. Following their 9-hole practice round on Thursday, teams will have a Skills Challenge starting time that will be assigned to them. Teams will be scored based upon their performance, and the winning Skills Challenge team will receive a special award at the Welcome Party on Thursday evening. There will also be awards for the longest male and female drive and more! Please join us for this day of friendly competition and fun!

Equipment
Players should bring only their driver, wedge, putter, and a preferred 90-yard club.

Long Drive
Each player will get two attempts to hit a tee shot. The ball should stay between the boundaries defining the Skills Challenge fairway to be awarded points. Points breakdown as follows:
CIRCLE TEE PLAYERS:
90 yards or less = 1 points
91-140 yards = 2 points
141-190 yards = 3 points
191-240 yards = 5 points
241-265 yards = 10 points
265+ yards = 15 points
PENTAGON TEE PLAYERS:
100 yards or less = 1 points
101-150 yards = 2 points
151-200 yards = 3 points
201-250 yards = 5 points
251-274 yards = 10 points
275+ yards = 15 points
SQUARE TEE PLAYERS:
115 yards or less = 1 points
116-175 yards = 2 points
176-230 yards = 3 points
231-290 yards = 5 points
291-314 yards = 10 points
315+ yards = 15 points
Putt Challenge
Each player will have one attempt to sink a 50+ foot putt. Points will be determined by the cumulative distance of the team's shots from the hole.
Total team distance is 120' or more = 5 point
Total team distance is 80' to 119' 11" = 10 points
Total team distance is 40' to 79' 11" = 25 points
Total team distance is 24' to 39' 11" = 50 points
Total team distance is 0' to 23' 11" = 100 points
Closest to the Hole
Each player will get one attempt only. Points are awarded based on a ball’s distance from the hole.
Ball rests outside of the circles = 0 points
Ball rests inside large circle = 10 points
Ball rests inside small circle = 20 points
Hole the shot = 50 points
Chip Challenge
Each player will get one attempt only. Points are awarded based on a ball's distance from the hole.
Ball rests outside of the circles = 0 points
Ball rests inside large circle = 10 points
Ball rests inside small circle = 20 points
Hole the shot = 50 points
Caddies for Kids Par 3 Shootout
All players will participate in a 3-hole Par 3 Shootout on The Swing following the last skill of the Skills Challenge. The winners will be determined by the lowest total team score over the 3 holes. Winners of the Caddies for Kids Par 3 Shootout will receive a special prize at the Welcome Party.
