About the Pflugerville Middle School Band

Since the opening of Pflugerville Middle School in 1985, the Panther Band has been a source of pride for our school and community. Built on a tradition of musical excellence, leadership, and teamwork, the program provides students with opportunities to grow as musicians and individuals while representing Pflugerville Middle School with distinction.

The Panther Band has earned numerous honors throughout its history, including successful performances at the UIL Concert & Sight Reading Evaluation, competitions, and festivals. The program has also received national recognition through the Foundation for Music Education's Mark of Excellence project, highlighting the program's outstanding achievement and performance quality. One of the program's most distinguished accomplishments came in 2011, when the Pflugerville Middle School Band was selected to perform at the prestigious Western International Band Clinic in Seattle, Washington. 

Today, the Panther Band continues its tradition of excellence by fostering a culture of hard work, pride, and musical achievement. The band remains committed to inspiring students and building a legacy of excellence for future generations.
