2026 - 2027 JV CHEER TRYOUTS

       August 20 & 21   

          1.Complete the PHS CHEER & SPIRIT TRYOUT FORM   on or before Thursday, August 20

          2. Learn TRYOUT MATERIAL HERE - Tryout Material 

        3. Attend all Tryout days on Thursday, 20 and Friday, August 21

• Candidates must have a current athletic physical to participate - PFISD Physical Form 

• Tryouts are in the Cheer Room (D110) beginning at 4:30 pm 

• Thursday, August 20 - will be a clinic day to review/learn material and practice skills 4:30pm -6:30pm

  • • • Candidates wear athletic shorts, shirt/tank top, hair pulled back, no jewelry, and athletic shoes/cheer shoes

• Friday, August 21 - will be the evaluation and will begin at 4:30pm. Candidates may leave when their tryout is complete.

  • • • On evaluation day, candidates will wear plain black shirt/tank, plain black shorts, hair pulled back, white bow, no jewelry, and athletic shoes/cheer shoes

          4. Tryout Results will be posted on the PHS Cheer Website on Friday, August 21 by 9:30pm.
