Purpose
Pathways in Technology Early College High Schools (P-TECH) are innovative open-enrollment high schools that allow students an opportunity to receive an associate degree and/or industry-based certificate as well as a high school diploma.
Connally High School is proud to announce its new CIT Academy! This is an innovative open-enrollment program that allows students to receive both their high school diploma and their Associate of Applied Science degree in Information Technology from Austin Community College as well as a C++ Certification by the time students graduate from high school, at no cost to students.

The mission of PfISD P-TECH Academies is to empower students to complete post-secondary and industry-based credentials through an academic and work-based educational experience that leads to success in high-demand fields, in partnership with institutes of higher learning and industry professionals.
Vision:
PfISD P-TECH Academies will provide academic and work-based learning with whole student support so all students find their postsecondary success.
Month at a Glance
CIT Academy had our first virtual guest speaker from Austin Urban Technology Movement (AUTM) to talk about our partnership with them and their mentorship programs to link IT professionals with our CIT students.

PFISD College and Career Fair : October 19, 2021 (7:00-8:30 PM) @ Pflugerville High School
When our P-TECH students graduate from high school with their Associate's degree in Information Technology and a C++ certification, they will have the option to go straight into the workforce with their degree or continue on for the last 2 years of their Bachelor's degree. Come meet over 150 representatives from colleges, career, and the workforce
