Canvas Access for Parents
Canvas Access for Parents
Did you know that Parents and Guardians can create a Canvas account and sign up as an observer in Canvas? Observers can link their Canvas account to their student’s account so they can see assignment due dates, announcements, and other course content. Observers can view the course content but cannot participate in the course.
This guide is for parents to set up a Canvas account to observe their students in their courses. To observe a student, you must have a student pairing code. The guide will show you how to get one and sign up for a parent account.
Once you have an account, you can view student information through a Canvas Parent mobile app. Please use the written instructions below or this video to set up a parent/guardian Canvas account.

Welcome to the Hendrickson Counseling Page! We're so glad you're here. Our office offers a wide range of services for our Hawk families, and we are here to support you in any way that we can. Students in crisis can seek support through the Counseling Office and counselors will work with families to provide the appropriate resources based on individual cases.

Whether it is a conflict with a friend or a death in the family, the counselors are here to support students and families as needed.

The answer may not always be at school, so we can direct families and students to the resources that will meet their needs.
We encourage students to self-advocate prior to parent intervention. Parents can support their student by discussing what steps they should take to seek support for their needs. Please contact us with any questions that you may have.
