Schedule Changes
Please review the slide show above that will be share with the students during lunch. The window to request a schedule change will open on Monday August 21 and close at the end of the school day on Friday August 25; all requests must be received by 3:35 p.m.
Please read below some important information regarding schedule changes:
Students must complete the request form and submit by the deadline.
Students are expected to follow their current schedule until their grade level counselor visits with them regarding their request.
All requests require a parent signature.
Once all requests are received, grade level counselors will review each request the following week.
A schedule change will likely lead to a change to other classes – up to 5 classes in some cases.
We cannot grant requests for certain teachers/periods or to be in classes with friends.
Not all requests can be granted. We are a growing campus and many elective classes are already full and closed to new students. Other students may be locked into their current schedule by other classes they are enrolled in.
If a request can be made they will meet with the student and hand them a copy of their new schedule.
All classes, with the exception of Health/Professional Communications in 8th grade are year long classes. Thus, there will NOT be a schedule change window for second semester. Students are expected to remain in their classes for the entire school year.
All changes will be completed by August 28th.
