Every year, the Texas Library Association creates a list of 20 great books for 6th-8th graders to read. Students in PfISD can read a book on the current list for thier summer reading project. All students are encouraged to read titles from the list, although it's important to note that not all books might be suitable for all students.

Every year all of the middle schools in Pflugerville ISD select a title to ALL READ and then pass to our friends. The title is great for 6th - 8th graders and leads to book discussions and fun activities. Each library hosts an event in the Spring for all students who participate in Read It Forward by reading the book. Watch for the announcement of this year's title.

New Kid, Ghost, Refugee, House Arrest, The Great Green Heist, and The False Prince.

Coding Club typically meets in the library once a week after school, but is on hiatus for the 2022-23 school year. Students work in small groups and use Hummingbird Robotics Kits and recyclables to create things that do things. It's awesome!
