CHOIR DIRECTOR
Deanna Errisuriz is a proud alumna of Texas State University–San Marcos, passionate about serving others through vocal performance and music education. She has performed with invited choirs at the Texas Music Educators Association, Southwest American Choral Directors Association, and American Choral Directors Association conventions, as well as internationally in Italy, South Africa, Spain, France, and Portugal.
With over a decade of teaching experience in Central Texas, Ms. Errisuriz has taught in various roles, including private voice instructor for San Marcos CISD and Comal ISD, elementary music specialist in Round Rock ISD, and choral director in Georgetown ISD and Pflugerville ISD. She had the privilege of opening the Bohls Middle School Choir Program, where her choirs consistently earned Sweepstakes ratings at UIL Concert & Sight-Reading and music festivals.
Beyond the classroom, Ms. Errisuriz serves as a choir mentor for Pflugerville ISD and music director for UpRising—A Church Without Walls in Austin. She is currently pursuing her Master of Music Education degree at Texas Tech University. When not teaching or studying, she enjoys watching reality television with her cat, Ninja, and dog, Cash (Mr. Jr.).
