Reminders:
- Your child must have a bag lunch and drink for Thursday, May 21st
- Your child must be picked up from Horizon Elementary at 2:00 pm on Friday, May 22nd
- If you are visiting your child at camp or chaperoning in any facet, you must complete the volunteer background check and scan your drivers license in our system.
The 5th grade staff at Horizon school has been taking kids to Camp Whitcomb Mason in Hartland for over 25 years. This is one of the Pewaukee School District’s most memorable field trips (according to many high school helpers). This is an OVERNIGHT field trip where kids stay in cabins on the camp grounds; multiple group-activities are planned throughout both days.
There are so many benefits to our camping experience, and the students have such a wonderful time learning in this environment! We do expect ALL fifth graders to join us, as this is a school, curriculum-based activity.
