MEDICATIONS

For students who have a chronic health condition that requires them to take medication during the regular school day, with or without assistance, please obtain physician written authorization and parent/guardian consent. This applies for all prescription and over-the-counter treatment options (i.e. Neosporin, Advil, Albuterol, Epinephrine, Tylenol, etc.). Treatment must be  prescribed by a CA licensed MD/DO. The correct authorizations along with the medication must be presented by an adult to your child's school annually.  (California Education Code #33308.5, 49400 and 49423) We appreciate your assistance in obtaining the proper authorizations as without them, medication(s) CANNOT be taken or administered to your student at school for safety reasons.
