Class of 2027 Senior Dedication Purchase Instructions

Please read these instructions completely before beginning your purchase.

DEADLINE TO PURCHASE A SENIOR DEDICATION: December 20, 2026

Your order is complete when all required photos have been uploaded, your message is within the character limit, and payment has been made in full.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The Walsworth website will timeout during the purchasing process if you take too long when entering information or uploading photos.

Because of this, be sure to organize your photos and write the message you

plan to include before starting the ordering process. Refer to the number of

photos needed and message character limits listed in Step 5 below.

Step 1: Visit the Yearbook Store

Visit YearbookForever.com

Step 2: Start Your Senior Dedication

Select “Get Started” under “Create an Ad.” (scroll to the bottom of page)

Before continuing, confirm that you are purchasing an ad for Petaluma High School’s 2027 yearbook.

Step 3: Complete the “Ad Info” Page

Step 4: Complete the “Ad Type” Page

Select “Have the school design my ad.”

Review the price for your selected size before continuing. Leave the color option selected.

Our student yearbook staff will design your dedication using layouts that coordinate with the yearbook’s theme.

We offer three sizes and prices:

Full Page: $300

Half Page: $150

Quarter Page: $75

Eighth of a page: $37.50

Review the price for your selected size before continuing. Leave the color option selected.

Our student yearbook staff will design your dedication using layouts that coordinate with the yearbook’s theme.

Step 5: Complete the “Ad Content” Page

○ “Headline” Field: Enter your student’s First and Last name only. Any

additional text will be ignored.

○ “Body” Field: Enter your entire message to your student in this section.

PLEASE NOTE: Walsworth allows 1200 characters (FULL), and 600

characters (1/2 and 1/4). However, to allow the best balance between the message and photos, WE STRONGLY SUGGEST these character limits:

○ “Enter Special Instructions” Box: DO NOT check this box. Any text entered in this field will be ignored.

○ “Skip Photo Upload” Box: DO NOT check this box. Any orders submitted without photos will be cancelled.

○ Uploading Photos: Photos must be a single photograph as a digital image file or a high quality scan of a developed photo. Files that contain a collage of multiple photos as one image will not be accepted. Our staff work from templates they create that match our theme and also allow for consistency in our designs. Because of this, WE REQUIRE the following number of photos for each size this year:

○ FULL PAGE - 10 photos

○ 1/2 PAGE - 5 photos

○ 1/4 PAGE - 2 photos

Step 6: Finalize Information and Purchase

Before paying, check:

Once you submit your order, be sure to confirm you received your receipt

from Walsworth. Save your official Walsworth receipt as confirmation of your senior dedication purchase. If you do not receive a receipt, check your spam folder and confirm that the transaction was completed.

After Your Purchase: Design Proofs

Once your dedication is designed, our yearbook staff will email one electronic proof to the address provided with your order. Please monitor your inbox and spam folder.

After the Purchase: Proof Delivery and Review:

Please review your proof carefully and respond by the deadline included in the email. Our student staff uses coordinated templates, so proof review is intended for content corrections rather than a complete redesign.

Content Guidelines

The PHS Yearbook Team reserves the right to request alternate photos or wording, or decline content that violates school standards regarding appropriate dress, language, substance abuse, weapons, gang affiliation, or other inappropriate material.

FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

Question: My student’s senior portrait session is after the purchase deadline. Can we include a photo from that session?

Yes. However, we still need time to create your child’s dedication and send a proof. We require that you submit the required number of photos when you order, with the option to replace images later. There is a maximum number of photos we can replace per size:

■ FULL PAGE - Replace no more than three photographs.

■ 1/2 PAGE - Replace no more than two photographs

■ 1/4 PAGE - Replace one photograph

○ The DEADLINE to submit replacement photos is January 10th, 2027. The replacement photographs must match the orientation of the photo they are replacing (portrait or landscape). There will be no exception to this date as we must make our publishing deadline.

QUESTION: What type of photos can I upload? What size should they be?

You can submit images with a .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .heic, or .tif extension. We cannot use images under 1024x768 pixels as they are not accepted by our design software. DO NOT UPLOAD screenshots or “photos of photos” as these are too small and/or of poor quality. Do not edit more than one photo together as one image (collages of 2+ photos), as these files will not be accepted.

Question: What advice can you provide for writing our message?

We strongly suggest writing your dedication message in Google Docs or Microsoft Word and then copying it into the order. Please note while we do our best to change basic grammatical errors, we do not alter message content or structure, so be sure to proofread your writing before submission

Question: If I miss the deadline to submit, or ask for changes past the

final deadline, will there be a second chance to do so? Can you make an exception?

The quick answer is no, but we want to emphasize this is not because we want to stick to a rule for the sake of a rule, or that we don’t understand the emotional impact. We have these deadlines because we have our own publishing deadlines to make or we incur financial penalties. As we complete sections of the book, they are printed at the factory and shelved. Once pages are submitted, time limitations and cost make reprinting not feasible.
