I graduated from Mississippi State University in May 2018 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education with certifications in Early Childhood Education and English and Social Studies K-12. I have always enjoyed working with children. Over the last 12 years I have worked with children of various ages in many capacities from babysitting, camp counseling, leading children's church, and of course teaching! This will be my third year teaching. I have taught Pre-k at a private school in Bastrop, TX and Pre-K/Kindergarten at a Montessori school in Port Arthur, TX. I am passionate about helping children learn and grow into the best version of themselves with a love for learning. I look forward to a wonderful school year!
I am originally from Decatur, Alabama where my most of my family still lives currently. I am the oldest of two sisters, and I have 2 older step brothers. My family is very important to me as we are incredibly close; my sisters are some of my best friends.
I am married to my husband of 2 years now, Logan Henry. We met in our home church and Decatur, AL and have been together since 2014. We don't have any human children yet, but anyone who know us, knows our dogs are our babies. We have two border collie mix dogs, Bucky and Loki. They are full of energy and always keep me going.

I love thrifting and bargain hunting. My favorite stores are Dirt Cheap, TJ Maxx, & Goodwill.
My favorite pastimes include: reading, drawing, hiking, playing with my dogs, video-making, and watching Netflix.
My favorite candies are Snickers and Reese's Nutrageous bars. I also love anything sour. My favorite snacks are Dill Pickle chips and Takis.
I love tea and coffee. Starbucks is always a Yes from me!
