All About Mrs. Graham

I am originally from Folsom, Louisiana where I was homeschooled by my mother. Because my father is a pastor, we moved to Laurel,MS in 2000. I entered the public school as a 5th grader and later graduated from West Jones High School in 2008.

I knew as a young child that I was called to teach children, and I furthered my dream by attending William Carey University.

In 2010 I married the love of my life and best friend, Joseph Graham. I moved to Petal after we were married and worked at the Petal YMCA in the children's afterschool program. I had the opportunity to become an AmeriCorps assistant in second grade at Petal Primary as I was finishing my senior year at William Carey. I then became a Math and Science teacher here at Petal Elementary in 2012. I also completed my Master's of Education degree at William Carey University in 2016.

Joseph and I have two children, Dawson and Amelia. Dawson is our fun and spunky nine year old who loves to play baseball. Amelia will be seven in August. She loves to smile and talk to everyone she meets. She also enjoys anything girly and participating in gymnastics! We also have a black lab named Jack. As a family, we enjoy playing outside, going on family vacations, and attending church at Petal-Harvey Baptist Church.

I am extremely excited to have the opportunity to teach your students in the 4th grade as we grow and learn together!
