What's Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)?
Similar to EMDR , it uses the body to reduce distressing feelings related to anxiety or trauma. EFT is an evidence- based practice with roots in acupuncture and acupressure. It involves tapping on various meridian points on the body. EFT is a quick way to calm your body , you can learn to do it on yourself, and its portable.
Why Improv?
Improv is a fun and low stakes way to practice life skills because life is improvised. It provides a safe and supportive space where you can work on letting go of perfection, control, and concern with how you come across to others. Improv exercises integrate well in DBT and group therapy.
