Born and raised in Ethiopia and came to the US as a teenager as a refugee. Took Perspectives in 1999 and changed my life. As a response to the Perspectives course, we started a mission organization called Horn of Africa Mission. Today God is using this ministry to plan over 27,000 simple churches in the Horn of Africa, North Africa and the Middle East. I am married and blessed with three wonderful children.

At a very young age I knew God was calling me into missions. After graduating from Prairie Bible College, I went to language school and met my Australian husband, Richard. In 1976 we went to Venezuela with WEC International. We were very privileged to be invited by local churches to teach and train in missions. The Spanish version of Perspectives was a vital part of that training. After 32 years God very clearly lead us to Washington State where we currently serve a mobilizers for WEC and area team leaders for Perspectives. We have 4 adult kids & 8 grandkids.

She has worked with the Perspectives movement for over 30 years as local class coordinator, regional director, instructor, author, and trainer. She works with Perspectives Global and is the author of "Propelled by Hope: The Story of the Perspectives Movement." Yvonne resides in Round Rock, Texas with her husband Steve.

Rev. James Cha and his family served 10 years in Central Asia as church planting missionaries. He and his wife, Faith, are now back in the US reaching out to the Muslims in northern Virginia. They are the Washington DC Area Coordinators for Crescent Project, and also serve as directors of ESL ministry at Cornerstone Chapel in Leesburg. They have three grown children and one grandson. Pastor James has written a book titled: "Fear Not: Living a Life of No Regrets."

Darrell Whiteman has taught the cultural perspective since 1986 and is the author of Crossing Cultures with the Gospel: Anthropological Wisdom for Effective Christian Witness, which captures the essence of his teaching and training people for cross-cultural ministry over the past 50 years. He was Professor of Anthropology and Mission at Asbury Seminary for 20+ years, and served in mission in Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands and Central Africa before that.

Kelly has been a Mother-baby nurse for 40+ years, and a nursing instructor with an MS in nursing education. As a missionary with Medical Ambassadors, Kelly helps develop and present effective holistic training, both in person worldwide and online, for creating healthy families and communities. The Christian Community Development approach she uses is a multiplication/discipleship model that empowers local people to make sustainable changes and promotes spiritual growth and church planting.

Kevin King is the President and Founder of International Project, an organization focused on initiating church planting movements through diaspora unreached people groups. Kevin oversees teams engaging the diaspora in cities in North America and internationally. Alongside their long-term teams, in 2010 Kevin launched the Equip program, which focuses on training cross-cultural church planters to start simple multiplying churches. Kevin and his wife live and minister in NYC.
