There is also a mandatory parent meeting on Monday, August 7th at 5:30 in AV200.
Tryout Information:
Tryouts are August 1st and 2nd. You MUST be present BOTH days.
Any girl planning on trying out for volleyball MUST have a current physical and complete all Final Forms. Also, be sure to select Volleyball as your sport in Final Forms in order for coaches to make sure you are able to tryout.
Tryout Times:
9th-12th grade: 4:00-7:00 pm in the PHS Main Gym
8th grade: 9:00- 11:00 am in the PHS Main Gym
7th grade: 12:00- 2:00 pm in the PHS Main Gym
Spring informational meetings and information are being done this week. Please use the links at the top of the page to access the information. Below are the important points that will be discussed.
What is Summer League? We've had many questions surrounding what summer league is. Summer league is only for High School players and is held at Perry in the Career Wellness Center starting June 23rd and goes every Wednesday until July 14th. We have 9 teams that come and play. This is a great way for the players to get game like situational play as well as for the coaches to see the players in game type situations. From 4:00- 5:45 a Freshman and JV team will take turns playing other teams. From 6:00-8:00 Varsity will play. This is absolutely free to both teams and spectators. As of right now we do not know if spectators will be allowed. We hope to find this information out in the coming weeks. We hope this helps clarify some of the confusion.
