Welcome to Lohr Reading Intervention!
What is Reading Intervention?
During reading intervention time (Panther Time), your child will be receiving instruction to support his or her progress in reading. He or she will not be missing core instruction time in the regular classroom. Other students are receiving intervention and enrichment at this time as well.

About Me
My name is Amy Gallentine and I am a Literacy Intervention Teacher at Lohr. I graduated from Walsh University with a bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education along with my Reading Endorsement K-12. I also went to Kent State and earned a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology. I have been teaching for 17 years in which 14 of those have been at Perry. I live in Canton with my husband, Rob; my son, Carter; my daughter, Casey; and our two dogs, Penny and Zeke. I look forward to learning with you this school year!
