District Testing

The District Testing Schedule reflects Universal Screeners given to all students at particular grade levels.  

"Screening measures are designed to identify at-risk students efficiently and effectively before they fail or before they establish a pattern of failure...Screening is an exercise in narrowing probabilities so that better instructional decisions can be made and explicit teaching can be intensified for those who need it most."

The State Testing Schedule reflects assessments required by the Ohio Department of Education at particular grade levels.

"State achievement tests tell us how well our students are growing in the knowledge and skills outlined in Ohio’s Learning Standards. These tests help guide and strengthen future teaching so we can be sure that we are preparing our students for long-term success in school, college, careers and life. Test results also allow citizens to know how their local schools are performing compared to others around the state."
