Mrs. Brunker, full-time certified librarian
Mrs. Brunker, full-time certified librarian
Mrs. Brunker, a graduate of the University of Akron and Kent State University, has a bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education and a master’s degree in Library Science. She received her National Board Certification in 1998 in English Language Arts/ Adolescence and Young Adulthood. She has been in education for 32 years. She taught reading and language arts in Orrville City Schools from 1989- 1996. In 1996, she came to Perry to teach language arts and speech at Edison. Mrs. Brunker became the librarian at Pfeiffer Middle School in 2002 and moved to the Edison Middle School library in 2011. This is her fourth year at Perry High School in the Library Learning Commons.

Mrs. Wenning, part-time certified librarian
Mrs. Wenning graduated from Kent State University in 2005 with a bachelor's degree in Art Education, minoring in Studio Art and Education and in 2019 with a master's degree in Library Information Science plus K-12 Library Media Licensure. She taught Art at Youtz Elementary and Belden Elementary in Canton City for one year, followed by 2 years teaching Art at Edgewood Middle School in Wooster. She left teaching for 7 years to raise her children, and found her way back to the education world in 2016 when she started working in the Perry High School LLC and loves being a part of the ever changing ways in which information is delivered and processed in a school atmosphere.
