LIBRARY LEARNING COMMONS STAFF
Mrs. Brunker, full-time certified librarian
Mrs. Brunker, a graduate of the University of Akron and Kent State University, has a bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education and a master’s degree in Library Science. She received her National Board Certification in 1998 in English Language Arts/ Adolescence and Young Adulthood. She has been in education for 29 years. She taught reading and language arts in Orrville City Schools from 1989- 1996. In 1996, she came to Perry to teach language arts and speech at Edison. Mrs. Brunker became the librarian at Pfeiffer Middle School in 2002 and moved to the Edison Middle School library in 2011. This is her first year at Perry High School in the Library Learning Commons.
Mrs. Wenning, part-time librarian
Mrs. Wenning graduated from Kent State University in 2005 with a bachelor's degree in Art Education, minoring in Studio Art and Education. She is currently working on her master's degree in Library Information Science at Kent State University. She taught Art at Youtz Elementary and Belden Elementary in Canton for one year, followed by 2 years teaching Art at Edgewood Middle School in Wooster. She left teaching for 7 years to raise her children. She is currently back at PHS for her second year in the LLC, and very excited to be a part of its transformation!
