Check the "Get Schooled" website frequently for scholarships. There are many links and often they will have simple contests, like the one seen t the left.  a catalog of over 500 scholarships.

Chemeketa Scholars

Chemeketa Scholars covers up to two years of tuition in any field of study, including career technical programs.  

Chemeketa Foundation Scholars

There are more than 140 scholarships and assistance funds available to new and returning students each year.

Dewalt Trades Scholarship

Stanley Black & Decker has established the DEWALT Trades Scholarship to assist students attending a two-year college or vocational-technical school who are pursuing a trade degree/certificate in an industry aligned with the Stanley Black & Decker Maker Goals – including but are not limited to Construction, Industrial, Motor/Power Sector, Mechanics, and Technology.  Click here for  more information. Lockheed Martin STEM Scholarships

Lockheed Martin launched a new scholarship program in 2019 to provide opportunities to students who want to build their talents and change the world!

We are continuing to award scholarships of $10,000 per student – renewable each year. The program will continue to add up to 200 new recipients each year, and will be open to individuals studying engineering or computer science that demonstrate financial need and come from underrepresented or underserved communities.


The Hagan Scholarship is a nationwide need-based merit scholarship, designed to provide recipients with the opportunity to graduate college debt-free. Free workshops, Free Schwab Brokerage Accounts and Free Study Abroad provide recipients with a practical understanding of important life skills not typically covered in the school curriculum.

National FFA Scholarship Program

Through the National FFA Foundation, businesses and individuals support scholarships that are awarded to students with a wide variety of higher education plans and career goals. FFA provides scholarships that support all areas of agriculture, either in trade schools, certifications, or college. Salem Health Foundation has a scholarship for high school students who have been accepted or applied to an accredited college or university and will be pursuing a a degree in health care. You must be a current resident of Marion or Polk County.  Click the button for more information. Deadline: March 31, 2024. 

Abby's Closet Scholarships

There are FOUR scholarships open to graduating women from high schools in Oregon and Washington, totaling $9500.  For more information and to apply, click here .

American Legion Riders Post 21 Scholarship

Click here to be taken to their site where you can download the application for this local scholarship. Last year, they gave away five $1,000 scholarships to local seniors. Must have a minimum of a 2.0 GPA and must show proof that a parent, guardian, grand parent, or sibling is serving or has served in the military service. Due May 1, 2024.

American Auxiliary Scholarship 

They are  trying to target those "average" kids who are going on to trade or technical school., even kids who need supplies (hard hats, boots, tools) to go directly into a trade!!! Proof of a parent/guardian, grandparent, or sibling being in the military (past or current service). To print the application, click on the box to the left and then select the arrow in the box. Amount is unknown at this time. Due by the end of May. 

Oregon Association of School Business Officials

Click here to learn more about their Promising Futures Student Scholarships. Have a 3.0 GPA? Registered with an accredited institution to attend classes after you graduate? Declared a finance position as your major? This is for you! Up to three scholarships will be awarded in Oregon for up to $3,000. The deadline is March 29.
