Section 504s
Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 is a federal civil rights statute. The purpose of this statute is to ensure individuals will not be discriminated against based on their disability. A 504 plan protects a student with an impairment that is substantially limiting one or more major life activities. If you would like to request for your child to be evaluated, please contact the middle school counselor.
