Mrs. Karlen

Hello!

My name is Mrs. Karlen. I have been a Math Teacher and Student Council Advisor at PHS starting my 10th year. I absolutely love my job and love this community. I am so lucky to be here!

My husband, Anthony, and I have two beautiful children, our twin boys Christopher and Thomas. We also have an energetic chocolate lab named Mikka. We love our summers where we can spend time at the lake and exploring outside.

Brynn Freeland

Hello!

My name is Brynn Freeland, i’m a Junior at PHS. I have a younger brother named Brody. My parents are Bryan and Rynell Freeland. I love spending time with my family and friends, I also really enjoy wake surfing, photography, and traveling!

Aside from being a Student Council Leader, I am involved in basketball and volleyball. I also go on mission trips with my church. I’m so excited for another fun year at PHS!!

Natalie Flatau

Hi! My name is Natalie Flatau, and I’m so excited to be a part of Student Council at PHS! Outside of school, I play volleyball, and I enjoy reading and spending time with my friends and family.

I’m passionate about making PHS a place where everyone feels included and excited to be involved. Through Student Council, I hope to grow as a leader, bring new ideas and school spirit, and make a positive impact on our school community.

Brightyn Barthel

My name is Brightyn!

I will be a junior this year!

My parents are Mitch and Tricia, and I have one sister, Brooklyn!

I enjoy going to the lake in the summer and being outside! I love hanging out with my friends and family! I am involved in student council, tennis, trap and BPA where I will serve as VP of development this year!

I am super excited to help plan events and make this school year fun and special for everyone!

Lauren Gjerde

Hey! My name is Lauren Gjerde, a junior at PHS. I have two brothers, Colter and Will and my parents are Joe and Erin. I love camping, lake days, projects, and hanging out with my family and friends!

Outside of Student Council I am involved in basketball, Sanford AAU basketball, tennis, and BPA where I serve as the VP of Specialized Activities. I’m excited for this school year and I can't wait for all the activities and events we have planned! ;)

Nora Murdock

Hey! I’m Nora Murdock and I am a Junior at PHS this year. I joined student council last year and it was so much fun. I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, reading, lifting, skiing in the winter and spending time on the lake during the summer!

I am in Tennis, Track, and BPA, my younger brothers are Charlie and Levi who are both in high school this year, and my parents are Nick and Katie Murdock. I’m excited to be a leader this year and make this school year special!

Paiton Christiansen

Hello!

My name is Paiton Christiansen, and I’m a senior at PHS. I have a brother named Brennan, and my parents are Brett and Sadie Christiansen. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and staying involved in activities I’m passionate about.

I’m involved in Student Council, basketball, and track. I also work at the Boys & Girls Club, where I enjoy working with kids and being involved in my community.

After high school, I plan to pursue a degree in elementary education.

I’m excited for a great senior year and another fun year with Student Council!

Zayn Wacker

I’m Zayn Wacker I am a junior here at PHS I’ve gone to Perham school all my life. I have two siblings and play football, wrestling, and baseball.
