We are Perception3, a Singaporean art duo. For a limited time, we'll be making a special Hors Commerce* edition of our artwork Still Building, which was recently showcased in National Gallery Singapore’s National Day Light-Up.
100 original giclée prints, entitled Still Building II, will be made available through this online fundraiser for a contribution of SGD200 per print. Each print will be hand-signed and numbered by us.
Net proceeds will go towards supporting the valuable work of AWARE, ArtsWok Collaborative, and The T Project. Contributors may indicate which organisation they would like their net proceeds to be transferred to.
How this works
Register your interest to contribute via our registration form. We will email you within 48 hours with details of how you can transfer your contribution, and by when. (Check your spam/junk folders, in case our email lands there!)
Reserve your print(s) by transferring your contribution by our given date. Once your contribution is received, we will email you again to confirm your reservation and update you on the delivery schedule. We expect to fulfil all deliveries by mid-Oct 2020.
Net proceeds will be consolidated and transferred to the selected organisations by the end of Oct 2020. We will send you an email update when this is done.

Perception3 was co-founded in 2007 by artist Regina De Rozario and design practitioner Seah Sze Yunn. We are a Singaporean art duo that makes videos, photographs, prints, and text-based installations in public space.
Our print production consultants and partners for this initiative are Chris Yap and Daniel Chang, of Light Editions + Gallery.
What kind of print is this?
This is an original giclée print, produced on a large format inkjet printer using pigment-based inks. This method is used mainly for fine art and high quality photographic prints.
What is the size of the print?
The print paper size is 50 x 70cm; the artwork image size is 45 x 61.5cm.
What are the materials used?
The print is made using pigment-based inkjet printing on Munken Polar Rough paper, which is a paper certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and which meets the ISO 9706 standard for ageing resistance.
Could you frame the print for me?
Each print will be unframed, rolled and delivered in its own kraft mailing tube. Due to our limited resources, we are unable to provide a framing service or to liaise with framers on your behalf.
How will the prints be numbered?
Each print will be assigned individual Hors Commerce edition numbers (e.g. H.C. 1/100, H.C. 2/100, up to H.C. 100/100). These will be handwritten by the artists on the bottom-left corner of the paper.
Can I choose a specific edition number?
No, edition numbers are assigned to contributors on a first-come, first-assigned basis. We will inform you of your assigned number when we confirm receipt of your contribution.
Will the print be available in shops or through a gallery?
No, the print will only be available from the artists through this fundraising initiative. As the work features a part of the National Pledge, it may not be (re)sold, (re)produced or used for commercial purposes.
How much is each print?
A print may be reserved by making a SGD200 contribution. The net proceeds of each contribution will go towards the selected charity/non-profit organisation.
How do I make my contribution and reserve a print?
We can accept contributions via PayNow and funds transfers via internet banking. We will email you about this after you register your interest (Check your junk/spam folders, in case our email lands there). We do not accept payments via credit card or PayPal as these would incur a fee (which means less net proceeds). Your print will be reserved upon receipt of your contribution.
Will the artists receive any profits from this initiative?
No, the artists will not receive any profits. All net proceeds (i.e. the amount consolidated after production and delivery expenses) will go to the selected organisations.
Where will the net proceeds go?
Our selected organisations for this fundraising initiative are:
AWARE, a registered charity and leading gender equality advocacy group
ArtsWok Collaborative, a registered charity focused on developing communities through arts-based programmes
The T Project, a registered non-profit organisation which provides support to the transgender community in Singapore.
The net proceeds will support the valuable community work that these organisations do.
Am I able to choose my preferred charity/non-profit organisation?
You may select either AWARE, ArtsWok Collaborative, or The T Project in the registration form. You may also choose to have the net proceeds transferred to all three organisations.
When will you transfer my contribution to the selected charity/non-profit organisation(s)?
The net proceeds of your contribution will be transferred to the selected organisation(s) by end Oct 2020.
I would like to give more than SGD200 so that the selected charity/non-profit organisation can receive more funds. How do I do this?
Thank you for your generosity! However, we aren't able to process variations in the net proceeds. We encourage you to visit the respective organisation's website to donate to them directly.
When can I expect to receive the print?
We expect to fulfil all deliveries by mid-Oct 2020. We will email you about the delivery schedule when your contribution is received.
Do I need to pay for delivery?
Delivery to Singapore addresses (except to P.O boxes, offshore islands and restricted areas) is included free with each contribution. If you have requested for more than one print, we can arrange for them to be delivered to different addresses.
Do you ship overseas?
Due to limited resources and the uncertainties/restrictions of shipping during this pandemic, we are currently focusing our efforts on deliveries within Singapore. However, we may consider overseas requests on a case-by-case basis, subject to additional charges for shipping, handling, insurance, etc. Please email us with your request and we will be in touch.
How will the delivery be done?
The prints will be hand-delivered in kraft mailing tubes. We will inform you of the delivery schedule upon receipt of your contribution.
I received a damaged print. What should I do?
Please email us immediately with images of the print you received and we will be in touch.
