Field Trips

Interested in visiting us for a school field trip, Cub Scout show, or other event? Follow these instructions to get started:

1. Contact Rob Webb to set up possible dates, times, topics. Confirm availability with Mr. Webb first, then proceed to step #2

2. Read “Facility Use Requests” page, and determine what “class” you are 

   • Boy/Girl Scout groups are considered "Class I"

   • Home School groups are considered "Class II"

   • Groups from other school districts are considered "Class III"

3. Read the “Rules & Fees” page. 

   • The rental charges for the planetarium are as follows:

     • Class I (Scout groups)

       • No flat fee charged

       • $35/hour for Planetarium Director, minimum of 2 hours

     • Class II (Home School groups) & Class III (other school districts)

       • A flat fee of $175 is charged up front 

       • $25/hour for Class II, $50/hour for Class III

       • $35/hour for Planetarium Director, minimum of 2 hours

4. Fill out the “Request Form” and send to Jaci Ladley at the Intermediate School, ccing Rob Webb
