Rules and Procedures

General Library Rules

The library is for all students - bullying or harassment of any kind will not be tolerated
Students are permitted to use any of the materials or activities in the library, provided they treat them with respect
ALL students MUST have a pass to use the library during the school day
- Students may only use the room if there is a staff member present
Students who wish to print in black and white may do so from the Desktop Computers in the Library
- Color printing should be sent to a teacher or other staff member - there is no direct color printing
- Students who do not know their desktop login (it is different from the Chromebook) may get the information from Guidance - if that is not possible:
  - If the Librarian is in the room, students may email the item that needs to be printed
  - If the Librarian is not in the room, students may have to go elsewhere to print
Students who wish to use the Library before or after school must schedule time with the Librarian
THE LIBRARY MAY BE CLOSED OR LIMITED FROM TIME TO TIME TO ACCOMODATE CLASSES OR TESTING

Borrowing time may be extended - students must bring the book in to be renewed
Students are responsible for any book checked out in their name
Notices will be sent out for late books
Books that are lost or not returned will be charged a replacement fee based upon the most current price for the book
