I am so excited to have you in my class. This year will be different than any of us have ever experienced, but I am looking forward to all of the learning that will be taking place. Together, we will embark on many new discoveries! Some of those include mastering your basic facts, learning how to multiply and divide, diving into the world of fractions, and playing with place value! I cannot wait to see what you all create!
This is my ninth year at SJG as the Math and Literacy Interventionist. I believe in discovery and discussion based-learning following the math pedagogy of Jerome Brunner. I obtained my masters of a M.Ed in Teaching Children Mathematics from William Paterson University.
When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. We go for walks, play games, and watch movies together. I also like to read, and love to bake! In my free time, I enjoy kayaking, camping and hiking.
Fun Fact: I climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Africa!
