The Interfaith Food Pantry is a charitable, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides free groceries to residents of Morris County in need. The Interfaith Food Pantry provides groceries to Morris County residents through a variety of distribution channels.
At our two food pantries families come directly to us to receive groceries. Through our pantries we provide: dry goods, fresh produce, milk and dairy products, frozen meats, bread and desserts, baby products, pet supplies, and extra items when available such as paper goods, laundry and cleaning supplies, coffee and condiments.
Comforting a child who has recently lost a parent, sibling or other significant person is a difficult and sometimes painful task. Support from others, especially peers, can help children recognize they are not alone in their grief and can assist them to find ways to cope with their losses. Providing the support to the grieving children in our lives often frees us to grieve our losses.
Atlantic Visiting Nurse is pleased to announce our fourteenth year of Camp Clover - a bereavement day camp for children and teens grades 1 through 8. Camp Clover is designed to be a safe place where children are encouraged to talk openly about their thoughts, feelings, and fears. As they share memories with fellow campers, they learn they are not alone in their grief.
Camp Clover offers fun, interactive, and educational activities to help with the grieving process as well as traditional camp activities which include swimming, sports and arts and crafts. It is our hope that children will emerge from their camp experience with new coping skills to help them in their journey through their grief. Camp Clover is staffed by professional grief counselors and trained volunteers and will run from August 12th through August 155h, 2024.
Camp Clover is funded by donations and is FREE to all children. Additionally, camp will provide busing and lunch. Camp Clover is located on the grounds of Camp Riverbend, 116 Hillcrest Road, Warren, NJ.
