Can anyone join Pepperdine SBA?

Yes! We love having members of diverse experiences and perspectives.

I'm not a Sport Administration major, can I still join?

Yes! SBA is open to all undergraduates interested in the sports industry.

I'm unable to make it to a meeting/event. What do I do?

Send us an email letting us know you can't make the meeting, and we can update you on any information you may miss. If you would like to contact a specific speaker please let us know and we will share their information with you.

I'm not a member. Can I still come to an event?

Yes, we allow non-members into certain events. If you would like to take full advantage of all the opportunites we provide, we advise you to become a member.

Where are your events held?

Our meeting location changes based on the event. Most meetings are held in the CCB, but we also host events in the Jones Trophy Room. All event locations will be given at least one week in advance.

Do I have to RSVP for all events? What if I miss the RSVP time listed?

No. RSVP is only used at the discretion of the E-board and our advisor. If you miss the deadline stated in an event invitation please email us to see if there are any spots left.

I'm interested in joining the E-board. Who do I talk to?

E-board nominations will be accepted beginning in early March. If you would like more information on positions available please send us an email or speak to current E-board members.

I have suggestions for future events, speakers, or opportunities. Who do I talk to?

We are open to all suggestions from club members. Please send any suggestions to our email address, or feel free to talk to an E-board member.

Do I have to pay to get into SBA events?

Currently there are no fees for individual SBA events.

I am a current sport industry professional, and I would like to participate in an SBA event. What do I do?

We are open to all industry professionals working with SBA. Please email us your information and idea, and we will get in contact with you.

I would like SBA students to come volunteer for my event. What do I do?

We love for students to have a wide variety of experiences. Please email us your event details and relevant contact information, and we will get in touch you.

SBA members are presented with volunteer opportunities at the discretion of the E-board, our advisors, and consultants.
