About the Run for Recovery: People Engaged in Recovery is pleased to announce the third annual Walk for Recovery; we changed the name, but it is still the same concept. Runners will get a chance to run a 5k while raising awareness and hope for those with substance use disorders—providers from various avenues will answer questions and provide information on their services to individuals and their families. There will be two speakers, people living in long-term recovery, who will share their stories of how their experiences dramatically changed once they found their path. Jonathan Riley and Vannessa Phelps will share their knowledge, strength, and hope. Recovery is possible.
There will be arts and crafts, a drug takeback, and food trucks—a fun-filled day for the whole family.
