Invitations to apply for NHS Membership for the 2024-2025 year will be sent via email during the last week of August. Once you receive an invitation, then you can complete the application for membership.
Initial Checklist for Consideration (your application will NOT move forward unless ALL THREE criteria have been met):
You must have a cumulative GPA of 3.75 at the end of the academic year (10th or 11th grade) to be invited to apply for membership in NHS.
You must have completed a minimum of 10 community service hours between the beginning of 9th grade year and time of application.
You must have held at least one leadership position within the school, community or work environment. A leadership position is defined as: a position that requires you to manage people, situations, and items effectively and ethically.

Print all information and submit it by Friday September 20, 2024 at 3pm. No applications will be accepted past 3pm on this date. NO EXCEPTIONS FOR ANY REASON. Please plan ahead.
Please submit your application to the main office. There will be a NHS basket for applications. No applications will be accepted via email.
All information will be used by the NHS Selection Committee to ensure the fair consideration of your candidacy during the selection process. Completion of this form does not guarantee selection. Acceptance is competitive.
If you are not selected, you will have 5 days from notice of non-selection to appeal. After that time, you forfeit your right to appeal.
