Varsity Team plays in the 2018 Kreul Classic

Welcome to the 2018 Kreul Classic
This season our boys varsity basketball team will be traveling to Coral Springs, Florida for the Kreul Classic.Since the first tip-off in 1990, nearly 20,000 student-athletes have showcased their hardwood skills in this premier national high school tournament. Teams from 26 states, Canada and the Bahamas, and numerous top-rated D1 recruits and stand-out players have demonstrated their athletic prowess during some of the most exciting prep basketball played each season.
This December, Penn Trafford will once again join the long list of Kreul contenders. Numerous teams have emerged from our tourney with regional and national rankings, some even securing invitations to the ESPN National Championship.Last year alone, the field saw five participants go on to capture their state title: Greenforest (GA), Dillard (FL),Miami Christian (FL), Westminster Academy (FL).
Proceeds from the tournament have helped fund 82 four-year academic tuition scholarships to Florida Atlantic University and more than 100 monetary awards to South Florida students. And the non-profit, charitable efforts don’t stop here...in addition to a scholarship fund, each year, the Kreul organization donates new bicycles to underprivileged youth; provides scholarships to local kids so they can attend camps and clinics led by former professional players; and a variety of other worthy community efforts. They say it takes a village for a child to prevail — The Kreul Classic is working to fulfill this role in the village of South Florida.
