Introduction to Administration and Management

Course description:

This course focuses on business from a managerial viewpoint. It is designed for those who have an interest in leadership positions or for those who may wish to own and operate their own business in the future. During the first semester, as a team, they will collaborate on all aspects of a business by creating a company name and logo, designing a product, creating a commercial and billboard, as well as setting and managing goals. Each student will have the opportunity to be a Project Manager during one of the components of this project. As students progress throughout the year, each area of management will be covered. College credit is available through LaRoche College.
