Forensic Science I-Mock Scene - Apartment Break In
Sunday , Jan 27, an apparent break in took place at 3381 Rt 130 Harrison City, PA. James Cleveland, the residence owner, was assaulted and $5500 in cash and electronic equipment were stolen. Mr Cleveland was treated and released from Forbes Regional Hospital with minor injuries. After interviews and investigation, Mr. Robert Woods was apprehended as the apparent perpetrator. He is being evaluated by Penn Township Police. He is denying involvement. PT:CSI has collected shoes, that have soil and glass remnants. The forensic lab has been asked to evaluate the soil and glass found at the scene and with the aforementioned evidence.
(Your job-write up a forensic lab report on the glass and soil evidence. Identify the origins of both and recommend whether or not the bagged evidence matches with the crime scene. Is Mr. Woods telling is the truth or is he being wrongfully accused?)
