IMPORTANT 2023 COMMENCEMENT INFORMATION
The graduation for the Class of 2023 will be as follows:
GRADUATION is Thursday, June 8th at 6:00 pm at the Cure Arena in Trenton, NJ.
On the evening of commencement, the ceremony will begin promptly at 6:00 pm.
Students will enter through the loading dock doors under the arena and report directly to their assigned seat between 4:45 pm and 5:30 pm. PLEASE DO NOT BE LATE.
Families will enter through the A or B entrances of the arena.
Students will need to have their own transportation to and from the arena. Students can either be dropped off by a family member, drive to the arena, or carpool with another student. There will be no transportation provided by Pennsbury High School for students and guests.
Once the students arrive, they are not permitted to leave the venue and to reenter.
There will be a live stream link sent out to all graduates on June 7th to send to family and friends.
The graduation ceremony is a dignified and solemn event, and we need cooperation from all to continue with this excellent tradition. We’re proud of Pennsbury and would like to have the ceremony as positive and dignified as possible. PLEASE NOTE that any student who chooses to be disruptive at graduation will find that his or her diploma has been withheld.
Although participation in the commencement exercises is voluntary, students who are participating will be expected to dress properly for the occasion. Attire for young men is dress shorts/pants and a collared shirt. Young ladies should wear something that is appropriate for the expected weather. All should wear appropriate footwear. Students inappropriately dressed will not be permitted to participate in the ceremony.
CAPS AND GOWNS will be distributed on Tuesday, June 6th in the West Training Room beginning at 8 am until 3 pm. More specific information will be distributed the first week of June.
This year, graduates will be permitted to decorate their caps for the ceremony.
