DATES AND TIMES

The graduation for the Class of 2022 will be as follows:

• GRADUATION is Thursday, June 9^th at 6:00 pm on Falcon Field

• The RAIN DATE for graduation is Friday, June 10^th starting at 4:00 pm on Falcon Field. The ceremony will only be moved in the event of heavy rain, thunder or lightning.

• On the evening of commencement, students are to report to their assigned seat on the field between 5:00 pm and 5:30 pm. PLEASE DO NOT BE LATE. The ceremony will begin promptly at 6:00 pm.

BEHAVIOR

The graduation ceremony is a dignified and solemn event and we need cooperation from all to continue with this excellent tradition. We’re proud of Pennsbury and would like to have the ceremony as positive and dignified as possible. Graduates are not permitted to decorate their caps for the ceremony.

PLEASE NOTE that any student who chooses to be disruptive at graduation will find that his or her diploma has been withheld.

ATTIRE

Although participation in the commencement exercises is voluntary, students who are participating will be expected to dress properly for the occasion. Attire for young men is dress shorts/pants and a collared shirt. Young ladies should wear something that is appropriate for the expected weather. All should wear appropriate footwear. Students inappropriately dressed will not be permitted to participate in the ceremony.

CAPS AND GOWNS

The distribution of caps and gowns will be Tuesday, June 7th in the West Training Room beginning at 8 am. More specific information will be distributed the first week of June. Graduates are not permitted to decorate their caps for the ceremony. The graduation gown rental fee was due in January using PaySchools. PLEASE NOTE that unpaid rentals become an obligation and your diploma will be held until the obligation is paid in full.

OBLIGATIONS

Obligations should be paid as soon as possible at the East or West Main Office. PLEASE NOTE that diplomas will be withheld until all obligations are paid.

PARKING

PARKING AND TRAFFIC PATTERNS have been arranged to provide for maximum efficiency. Graduates should enter the main drive and park on the gym side of the East building. Cars dropping off graduates should enter the main drive and use the drive in front of the building. Guests are to park in the parking lots located at Pennsbury High School East, Pennsbury High School West, or in the Village Park parking lots. Uniformed police will be on duty to assist drivers in parking cars.

HANDICAPPED PARKING

Handicapped parking will be available on a first come first serve basis with your motor vehicle issued handicap parking plaque or license plate.

TICKETS

Tickets will not be issued this year for the graduation ceremony. It is suggested that each family limit their attendance to 6 individuals. Please note that general seating is available and will be first come first serve. Questions regarding which side of the stadium to sit on should be directed to your child when they receive their graduation gown.

HANDICAPPED SEATING

Handicapped seating will be available. Seating will be provided for the handicapped individual and 1 additional person in their party. No special tickets are required.

PHOTOS

Pictures may be taken from the stands. Photographers may not enter the field area.

DIPLOMAS

Diplomas will be distributed on Friday June 10th from 8:00 AM - 3PM at the West Campus Fitness Room near Keller Hall. PLEASE NOTE that graduates must return their graduation gown and have all obligations paid in order to receive their diploma. Graduates keep their caps.
